The Churning - Synopsis
On March 26, 2000, a special excerpt "The Churning", from ADT's critically-acclaimed production,
"Daughters of the Ocean" was presented for CANSTOP under the auspices of Sundaram Medical
Foundation at Park Sheraton.
In memory of Ratnam's relative Dr Rangarajan who had died of brain cancer, the poignant work
highlighted illness, pain and suffering as being part of the eternal flow of life and the dignity and
grace with which one can face these traumas.
