Marvin Novogrodski, a member of the award-winning Everett Dance Company in Providence, Rhode
Island, USA, made an exploratory visit to India under the sponsorship of Arangham Trust.
He conducted workshops in Chennai (Madras), specialising in the principles of science and physical
theatre. The schools he visited included...... The Spastics Society - a centre for special education
and Rasa - a centre for movement therapy for children with special needs.
He worked with children of various ages who were fascinated with the concept of experimenting
with their bodies and creating new movement patterns.
