Summer camps for students aged between 8 and 14 years. They were introduced to several exercises developed from classical dance movements.

With Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School, Chennai
Anita Ratnam participated with over 100 school children in the age group of 8-14 years in a segment of "Aayana", a story loosely based on the Ramayana. "Aayana" was an ambitious project in Chennai, involving 1000 school children from various schools of the city, produced by Madras Craft Foundation, Chennai, that involved the use of giant puppets and narrators speaking in English and Tamil.

With Natya Vriksha, (Dance School), New Delhi

"The Other Festival"
It has been decided to involve Chennai city students in the coordination and conduct of the annual festival's programme schedule and assist artistes performing at The Other Festival.
